Just because I live in the great state of North Carolina, why does that qualify that I have to be a fan of NASCAR? I am aware of all the players, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. (little E), Kyle Busch, Greg Biffle, Jimmy Stewart, and of course the Rainbow Warrior Jeff Gordon, I know of the others, I know of the teams Dale Earnhardt, Inc, Hendrick Motorsports, et al... why does one assume that I enjoy NASCAR?
Heck just cause I live in North Carolina give me a good old pack of cigarettes and moonshine, park me in my Winnebago or as I like to call it a land yacht in the in field of the race track...let me watch der race okay? Oh don't forget my cha!
Frankly, I have nothing against the sport, it has the biggest and most loyal fanbase (meaning, studies have proven that the fans of NASCAR buy products that are endorsed to their racer) and that is pretty dang awesome. And if you have to ask, do I have a favorite racer, I like Dale Jr, I can't stand Jeff Gordon, he whines to darn much. But I like the M&M car...makes me want to eat 'em.

NASCAR??? Am I a fan? No...Well...I have been fascinated by NASCAR since I was little. I still remember watching my first race (the Daytona 500) in February of 1991 when I was only 5 years old...I was amazed by it...And nothing changed. From the very first race, I couldn't stop watching Dale Earnhardt...Any my parents don't like NASCAR nor did anyone I knew, so I literally just started liking Earnhardt on my own...I had no idea at that age about "popularity"...I just knew I liked his car and how he aggressive he was on the track. I haven't missed a 500 since...And I try to see as much of every race as possible. The only things left on the agenda are to: 1. Go to the Daytona 500 and actually see it live 2. Go to Bristol for either of the races...Preferrably the night race! 3. Go to Talladega. |

NASCAR??? Am I a fan? No...I love NASCAR. I can't stand Tony Stewart or Kurt Busch because they both need to grow up. Dale always got under peoples bumpers and knoeck them loose so I think it's ironic, trajic, but ironic that someone did that to him resuliting in the wreck that killed him. I love Gordon because he is a true racer that relies on his car and his pit crew, plus when I was 4 me and my friend found a Jeff Gordon hat on the ground and those flames look freiken sweet. I love JJ as well because he is a great racer that lets his driving do the talking. I also like Kasey Mears just because he is HMS. Used to hate Jr, but now I'm starting to like him because he's part of HMS. I can't wait til Bristol and the Brickyard. |

If you weren't such a football, basketball, hockey fan I would just accuse you of being the typical female who just pretends to know what she is talking about. I bet though when it comes right down to it you would find quarter mile drags more entertaining. 0 to OMG in 4.8 seconds would be the place to find you and your crazy throw up jersey. |
