Totally not sports related...I am sick
Preliminary diagnosis was bronchitis, but they sent me for a chest x-ray just in case to rule out walking pneumonia. Gave me a stronger anti-biotic just in case. No results on the chest x-ray, so dook is left to assume it's just a bad case of bronchitis.
I blame the weather constantly changing. It was 65º last week, now it's 35º. My body just can not adjust. And y'all complain about snow. PLEASE we want snow in Raleigh!
Oh well, enough of the non -sports related blah blah blah...back to the regular scheduled program.

Totally not sports related...I am sickI take seriously your complaint about your illness, can't take seriously your complaint about your weather. Up here we had close to a foot of snow over the last two days and right now the temperature is all the way up to the mid-teens. FYI, pneumonia can be viral or bacterial; if it's viral antibiotics don't work. Hope you feel better very soon. |

Totally not sports related...I am sickjust load up on a pint of very chilled jaegermeister. it tastes just like fletcher's castoria and should help. if the hardcore buzz doesn't kill it, the sweats that follow will. just make sure you're lying down when following this advice. |

Totally not sports related...I am sickHey dook girl, Sorry you aren't feeling better. I'm surprised at the Z-pak for sinusitis. Not really a great choice of coverage in the sinuses. It is however a great choice for pneumonia. An x-ray can lag about a week behind the clinical picture so you could have pneumonia and have had a normal film. Did they do a flu swab? We have seen a ton of Influenza and unfortunately other than treating the symptoms there isn't much to do. Delsym cough syrup is the best I have found. Other than that rest and fluids. Want me to bring over some Chicken Soup and Chocolate Cake? The soup is for the cold the cake is because hey, it's chocolate cake. |

Totally not sports related...I am sickFreshly grated ginger placed in boiling hot water, then strained... Add a teaspoon or two of honey to the hot ginger water... Sip it or chug it, just drink it all... Do this 2 or 3 times a day... Your lungs will "sweat"... You'll find that the quality of your respirations will be more full and not ache as much... You'll need to drink water / gatorade to the point of near drowning... I hope you feel better... ! |

Totally not sports related...I am sickWorked in Boston for a while. Determined the ATL is as far north as this Florida boy can go. Second home in New England...yes. Primary residence and occupation...no. Winters with snow as tall as me out my front door is a biiiiiig no-no. A day here or there when the white stuff falls, and only just a little, is just fine. Presently, I am not sick. Naturally, I have just doomed myself to the flu (knocking wood sound here). Healthy karma going out to out my ill brethren and sistren (? new word, perhaps?). |
